These books can be found in our library. Use these books to make notes and to begin your search for a suitable animal.
Read through the pages listed below.
As you read think carefully about the animal the text is written about. List features of the animal such as species, habitat, diet, breeding patterns, predators, size.
This will allow you to have a clear guide of what you're looking for before you begin your online research.
Also, note down any questions that you want to find answers to.

This atlas is in the reference section of the library. Use it to find habitats of particular animals.

ENCYCLOPAEDIA
Children's Britannica is a very useful encyclopaedia. It will give you general facts rather than specific information.We are able to access it free for two weeks, so make use of it. You will need to enter the name of the animal you're looking for in the search box. Take care to write your notes in your own words. Also, note down where you got the ideas from. The name of the article and Encyclopaedia Britannica is all that you need to write down.

This dictionary is also located in the reference section. Use it to check the spelling of words. It is especially helpful when the word processing program wants to use 'American English' in your writing. Also use it to check the meaning of words you are using.
